Two days after the last run I came down with the cold that everyone's been having; several lousy days followed. Felt a bit better on Saturday; no Snowstorm, but thought I'd make the SRRC run. Then in the morning felt lousy again so skipped it (saw Mark and others running as we family drove through town), and then went out for a solo run in the afternoon. Headed down the rail trail, first bit only, then up Springfield to town center and down Jabish to 9, turning right there and back home, thus:
Time: 42:53
Distance: 5.65
Speed: 7.9 mph
Comment: Felt comfortable going round, only one fast (sub-seven) mile, but definitely a bit shaky at the end. Low on reserves with the cold. Still, glad to have gotten out, at least.
