Starting today, *base* building, so a run right after the Sunday outing. I've got a couple of months to build miles and distance before I start the (probably modified) Hal Higdon 18 week training lead in to the MARATHON!! (still can't quite believe it, but I'm committed).
Went out late morning, cold and snowy roads, for a Hamilton-Bay-Allen-202 and home, aiming for at least 4 miles. Legs felt tired, but otherwise okay.

Distance: 4.15 miles
Pace/Speed: 7:28s / 8.05 mph
Comment: also did some core/upper body exercises, very basic; aiming to add this to every run from now.
