Circumstances conspired to make this my biking day -- I biked to work and back, carying a pretty heavy messenger bag. Now I have sore tense shoulders and behind (borrowed Nina's bike as the Mule is still not fixed up). 50 minutes there, and same back, with more effort on the route home (it then being cool enough to be pleasant). Total 11.5 miles each way, roughly.
