Late day at work, and finally home about 9:30. Out almost immediately -- it was a beautiful early fall evening, moon diffused by clouds, but light enough to run even the darker lanes pretty easily. Aiming for a Rural figure of 8, so GeoHannum-Rural-Eskett-202-Boardman, but then start tempo section, after 4 miles, and while slow (7:00 and 7:06) it feels good so keep going, taking a left onto Hamilton, where mile 7 comes in at 6:47, and only then slack off a bit; continue round the Hamilton - 9 loop, stopping clock after supermarket as soon as 9 miles comes up, thus:
Time: 1:06:21
Distance: 9.02 miles
Pace: 7:21s
Comment: felt good to get a pace run in after several days of easy or slow running and rest. Ankle, etc. felt okay (did this one in road shoes). Now 40 to go for the week, starting with a track workout if I can get home in time for light.
