Feeling fine, if a bit sleepy, so head to DnD and find Nick waiting inside, and then Bill joins us. Head out for a Jabish canal route, some gentle trails and about 9 miles. Start along rail trail, across at the underpass, then down the canal trail, all at very easy pace; change it a bit by heading into woodsy trail on left before we reach 21 -- very pleasant section, then on NoWash head down to Bardwell and along back to the canal and follow it all the way back, and rail trail back as far as OldSpfld--then I go off through BHS to get a bit extra in, and pick up the pace to finish off, thus:
Time: 1:15:01
Distance: 9.26 miles
Pace: 8:06s
Comment: perfect start to a day and a week.
Followed up with a gentle evening bike ride with R: 11.16 miles in 1:02:00 @ 10.8 mph.
