A bit later, but out to run slowly to the BHS track for some speed work. Take about 25 mins for the 2.5 + miles to get there, then start on laps at a decent pace (7:15~20 ish?). Overall do 20 laps in 35 mins, so 7:00 pace average, thus: run 10 laps plain, then 4 laps of sprint 100 and recover 300, then run 2 more laps plain, then do 2 x 200 meter sprints over the next 4 laps. Then much slower, and taking the Wallace pond trails, run home, thus:
Time: 1:18:36
Distance: 10.26 miles
Pace: 7:40s
Comment: this sort of workout hits new spots, but feels good. I need to do more 200s, I think, and a timed mile again. Next week, perhaps.
