Finally a chance at an SRRC run again, after an early start for lectoring. Find Bill and Ken there, so we head out for a Barrett Rd, chatting up a storm and enjoying a very easy pace.
Time: 1:26:18
Distance: 10.5 miles
Pace: 8:13s
Comment: a perfect run, but left me wanting a bit more, so evening went out for a bike ride up to the Quabbin overlook, then down past the Sirius center and back along rail trail and Orchard/Federal. Good pace, but not racing: quite hilly, with 1100' climb and descent, and I felt the lack of zing from the morning's exertions too. But enjoyable:
BikeRide = 24.18 miles in 1:42:00 @ 14.22 mph.
