Striking camp after the run this morning, and the long bus ride ahead, so out for a bigger route: same as yesterday, but go further off CR 64 to Oakdale Rd beyond, and then along a red earth country road that felt so 'of the place' -- and hot and dusty! Two sets of dogs came at me today, even more pushy: quite a problem if one lived here, I think. But this was it for my Alabama running:
Time: 1:21:21
Distance: 10.49 miles
Pace: 7:45s
Comment: hopefully this was good enough to tide me over -- summer training always suffers an interlude like this, but it's refreshing in other ways, so all to the good.
